Do I need an appointment?
Yes, we are by appointment only at Mini Me 3D, LLC.
When is the best time to schedule my 3D/4D ultrasound?
It is recommended to schedule your 3D/4D ultrasound session between 28 to 32 weeks of pregnancy to capture detailed images of your baby's face and body while still ensuring clarity and movement. This timeframe offers the best balance between baby development and visibility in the scans.
Will I get the most amazing pictures every time I get an ultrasound?
In most cases, yes. It is our goal here at Mini Me, 3D, to provide you with the best imaging of your little one. There is limitations with any ultrasound including the baby's position, how far along you are, amount of fluid around baby, and location of the placenta. If we cannot find the gender at a gender package appointment, we will gladly schedule a follow up scan, free of charge. To see examples of several limitations, click
Can I bring any guests with me?
Absolutely! You're welcome to bring family and friends. It is a relatively small room, so just keep that in mind! There is a spot in your booking form that you can indicate how many people you plan to bring!
How can I best prepare for my scan?
If you are having a 3D/4D ultrasound, it is best to stay hydrated and drink a lot of water the week prior your exam. The more fluid surrounding baby, the better pictures we can get! It is recommended to drink 64 ounces a day everyday 7 days prior to your appointment.
Are 3D/4D ultrasounds safe?
Yes, 3D/4D ultrasounds are safe for both mommy and mini! These scans utilize the same technology as traditional 2D ultrasounds but provide enhanced images and details. The duration of the scan is kept within safe limits to ensure the well-being of both mother and baby.
